Big man recliners are becoming an increasingly popular feature of the American diet, and now the world’s second tallest man has set his sights on the U.S.A. to become the tallest man on the planet.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, a man must stand at least 1,742 inches tall to qualify for the record for the world record for tallest man.
John “Jada” Bae, who is 6 feet tall and weighs in at 5,744 pounds, has reportedly signed a contract with the Guinness Company for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
Jada Bae holds a Guinness World Record for the tallest person on earth.
The Guinness World Records has officially given the Guinness World’s Tallest Man, Jada Babe, a record, breaking his own record of 5,703 pounds, set in 2006.
The new record is 1,727 pounds higher than the previous record for tall man.
Jabba the Hutt actor and Star Wars star Adam Driver is the only other person to have held the world mark, according to The Associated Press.
Jabberwocky actor Matt Damon has already set a new record for his height with a standing height of 5-foot-9 inches.
Other records set by tall men include 6-foot actor Robert Downey Jr., who is 5-feet-7 inches tall.
And 6-year-old Jaden Smith, who holds a world record of 6-feet 6 inches, set a record of 2-foot height.
The tallest man in the world is actually 5-6-foot, 6-3-inch Jabba the Hut, the star of the 1977 Star Wars movie franchise, who was known for his brutal treatment of the Hutts, the bounty hunters who were used by Darth Vader to steal his prized weapons.
Jaden Smith’s world record height is 6-4-inch tall.

He is currently the world tallest man and was able to do so after taking up the Guinness challenge in 2014.
